On 21st November, Ukraine celebrates the Day of Dignity and Freedom.
In the 21st century, Ukrainians are forced once again to defend the ideals of Independence, for which our ancestors struggled hard throughout the 20th century.
The Orange Revolution of 2004 and the Revolution of Dignity of 2013 had forever changed the Ukrainians. Peaceful student protests, mass meetings all over the country and peaceful “weapons” – Ukrainian and European symbols, the anthem of Ukraine – unfortunately, had to give way to barricades, tyres, despair and pain. And the Heavenly Hundred, who laid down their lives for the ideals of freedom.
Having stood up for democratic values, rights and freedoms of man and citizen, national interests of our state and its European choice, the Ukrainian nation realized its dignity and comprehended the meaning of freedom: why it is so important and the price of its achievements.
Let’s remember and honor the Heroes fallen for Freedom!
Ukraine is and always will be free and strong! We will not spare ourselves and our lives for this.
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
