Intelligence in the Context of Christianization of Kyivan Rus

There are some crucial events in the history of Ukraine that scientists, researchers, journalists and writers turn to again and again. Among them is Christianization of the ancient Kyivan Rus. It is celebrated on July 28 on the day of remembrance of Saint Volodymyr, Prince of Kyiv.

Those ancient events were reflected in a new book by the researcher of the history of intelligence, Oleksandr Skrypnyk, "Ukrainian Intelligence. Ancient Times". Referring to those times, the author depicts them through the prism of the Kyiv Princes' use of various elements of intelligence activity as an integral part of success in military or political confrontation.

This is how it was during the stay on the Kyiv princely throne of Askold, Olga and Volodymyr.
